Tony Chen of Microsoft Indonesia Resigns

Tony demonstrated an amazing leadership during his seven-year career with Microsoft.

Tony Chen today announced his resignation from the office of Microsoft Indonesia President Director as he wanted to pursue take a new challenge.

"This is a really hard decision. Microsoft is a company of great values of which employees have great spirit. During my seven years of working with Microsoft, I really loved my life," he said on a press release on Thursday, July 16.

Tony Chen started to work in Microsoft Indonesia in 2002. Since then, he did not only focus on the business development, but also helped Microsoft achieve its position as one of the strongest partners of the Indonesian government.

"Tony demonstrated an amazing leadership during his seven-year career with Microsoft," said Microsoft Asia Pacific President Emilio Umeoka.

Microsoft Indonesia, he said, has experienced significant business momentum in the past few years. "We are trying to continue gain success. We are very optimistic of the perpetual growth of Indonesia and we are committed to improve our role as the government's trusted partner in making possible Indonesia's vision of creative economy," he said.

During Tony Chen's leadership, Microsoft Indonesia had obtained various achievements. One of them included computer training for two million farmer.
